This is one of a pair of Great Crested Flycatchers I watched intermittently over a period of a couple of weeks back in June. They brought an amazing array of prey to their nestlings (who I never did see), including dragonflies, butterflies, bees, spiders, portions of snails (with shell bits!), and grasshoppers … lots of grasshoppers!
