Description

This year we had a major drought, which brought in all sorts of birds that I hadn’t seen on my baths before. Among the species was this Red Winged Blackbird, but as the summer progressed we had Red Breasted Grosbeaks, Yellow Warblers, and in mid August even saw a Canada Warbler having a drink/bath. It was a real treat seeing these birds, but at the same time it was sad to see their dependance on our bird bath just to get a drink.
