I was attending a retreat weekend this past October and took a walk on one of the trails. I noticed alot of commotion in this tree and confirmed with my binoculars that there was a Turkey Vulture party going on in this tree snag. This photo shows a birding “landscape” of 9 vultures, but 2 more flew in after I took the shot. I’ve never seen quite so many vultures all in one location.
