For years the local rabbits have been coming at night to eat the birdseed under my feeders. They even come up on our covered porch and eat from the ground feeder there. I have tried buying them ‘real’ rabbit food but they prefer to eat what the birds eat! Unfortunately for at least two of them, this Barred Owl showed up on our property last week.
