The love birds come to our backyard feeders in Mesa, AZ. Apparently some love birds escaped from a pet shop years ago, and have adapted very well on their own, and continue to increase in numbers. They are so beautiful, but are spooked easily and fly away quickly. Early in the morning I love to sit quietly on my patio, camera in hand, waiting for the perfect picture. Sometimes there are up to 15 love birds at one time eating from the feeders, or flying between the trees in the yard.
