I was taking photos of the male Pileated Woodpecker using my suet feeder, when he took of unexpectedly, and I caught his take off.

Great capture, beautiful bird!
To photograph a large pileated woodpecker in flight at such close range is quite unique, I think. By being ready with you camera, you were ready for a split second behavior change from this majestic bird and the opportunity for a unique photo. Thanks for sharing.
