Hawks are one of my favorite birds to photograph. I love to watch them fly over the meadows and hunt. They are usually way to far away for me to photography but this day I found one sitting in a tree near the refuge road. I waited long enough for him to decide to go hunting and started photographing as soon as he took off from the tree. I like the upturned wing tips and the morning light on his feathers.
