Sunset Flight of Great Blue Heron

Description

While walking on the Tomahawk Creek Greenway, I watched a Great Blue Heron as it took flight at sunset from one of the small lakes along the trail where it had been feeding. This is one of the earliest photos I took when I began birding and using eBird to record my sitings. I was impressed by the elegance of the heron as it left for the day.
