Description

I had a young bald eagle kill a Canada goose on my pond one day in December. I was so surprised because I’ve only ever seen one once around here but it never landed, only flew over. I was able to get a number of pictures of this bird but none flying. The next day another, even larger bald eagle stopped to dine on leftover Canada goose. He was around for a good hour. I stood outside (in the cold) waiting to get a shot of his wingspan. It’s not the highest quality picture as he was really moving fast. It was a wonderful 2 days to have them here!
