On a cloudy November afternoon, I was surprised and delighted when this Barred Owl landed on our feeder stand. S/he stayed for a while, grooming, napping, and looking for wayward rodents or birds. Needless to say, the locals were very upset and multiple alarm calls sounded while this owl hung out. So beautiful!!
