Gorgeous! Blue Jay is one of the world’s most beautiful birds – in my book, anyway :-); for their color and complex feather patterning, but also their graceful athleticism. I had the unexpected joy of observing a Blue Jay at it’s nest once and the singular care the adult took to inspect the contents from many angles to ensure that all was well. There may have been some newly-hatched chicks inside. They seem to be very attentive parents.
