Description

I’ve been watching Northern Cardinals around some feeders this winter. There is a tall snowbank I often spread seeds on and some birds will come within 6 feet of my vehicle, allowing me to take photos out my window. I happened to catch the very instant that this male is cracking a Black oil Sunflower seed and you can see some debris flying through the air.
