I make homemade suet cakes each winter for the birds in my backyard. One snowy day the pair of Carolina wrens that frequents my backyard came to the feeder together. Usually they feed on separate feeders, but the suet cakes are a favorite. I considered it a special treat to capture a photograph of their “dinner date”.
