Mourning doves were always my favorite backyard birds to feed, photograph, and watch. I love their soothing cooing, and hearing the whistling sounds from their wings when coming in and taking off. You really feel bad seeing this mourning dove starting to collect snow on itself. But it comes to show you living in nature, and learning to survive through every harsh element.
