Description

In the midst of summer the hummingbirds are an almost constant presence at our 3 nectar feeders and in our yard. We typically don’t have a lot of males around, but seem to have several females that frequent the feeders every year through Spring and Summer. On occasion, we are able to watch the females bring in their babies when the fledge to show them the food source. These are my favorite backyard birds and I love photographing them!
