Description

I had to admire this pine siskin for taking on a yellow-bellied sapsucker. When he first landed, the siskin was posturing aggressively and vocalized right in the sapsucker’s face a few times. But the sapsucker ignored him. So then they both got on with the business of eating. This peaceful sharing of the suet went on for several minutes until the siskin flew away with his flock.
