Description

On hot South Carolina summer days, the many painted buntings who came to the millet feeders spent a lot of time in the shallow terra cotta dish I use as a bird bath. Since the male painted bunting is probably America’s most beautiful bird, he makes a good entry for the Bathing Beauty contest.
