Reports of pine siskins were being seen for the last week in Northern Indiana. I finally had a small group of pine siskins visit my backyard in Hartford City, IN. I set out black oil sunflower, thistle, and sunflower hearts mix and this buffet must have convinced them to stay and eat.

Pine Siskins finally moved south into northern Indiana for the winter months. I set out a mix of thistle, black oil sunflower, and sunflower hearts. This siskin has a mouthful of sunflower hearts.
