Description

Flock of male and female Pine Grosbeak on the gravel road about 1 mile from my home, on my way to town. They were enjoying the warmer weather. Some of the snow had melted and formed puddles. The birds were not disturbed by my presence. They went from the trees on the edge of the road, to picking at the gravel. This one little female could not help herself and once she found this puddle, proceeded to totally enjoy herself, splashing and flicking water in every direction.

Species
