Description

My feeder count site has only recently had a visit from the Red-winged Blackbirds. I felt that since the daily temperatures have dropped significantly in the last week, they have come to let me know that winter is here to stay. I don’t mind them though. They allow other birds to feed with them on the platform feeders, and seem to be friendly overall. They may be boring, and sometimes considered bully birds, I do find their markings striking.
