Description

It has been very cold here, as low as minus 25 Celsius. When this photo was taken on December 18, it was about minus 16 Celsius. Puffing out its feathers and finding a place to roost in the warmth of the sun was just what the doctor ordered for this American Tree Sparrow after much activity at the feeders and suet balls. We don’t get many sparrows during the cold of the winter, but the American Tree is usually a given.
