A set up shot…I was leaving peanuts out for the jays and saw how the setting sun back-lit their wings when they braked for landing. So…I grabbed a handful of peanuts, the camera and a tripod and set up and waited.

My camera is built more for zoom than speed but I just may upgrade and learn a little more after seeing this gorgeous pic. So many are beautiful but this one got my vote! Plus…Scrub Jays are more rare to capture & we don’t even get them in the U.P. 😉 Great shot!!!
