Description

Between the Coopers Hawk and the Sharp-shinned Hawk that frequent this feeder watch site, the Sharp-shinned Hawk (esp. juvenile) is the more stubborn or obstinate of the two. He/she will parade up and down along bushes, etc. and doesn’t hesitate diving into said bushes whereas the Coopers Hawk will perch patiently on a branch of a tree and scout the area from there.
