We were going through the Sacramento Wildlife Refuge and had stopped to get out at one of the stop zones. All was fairly quiet when suddenly there was a tremendous noise. We turned around and there were thousands of snow geese in the air. Something had certainly startled them. They flew around for a couple of minutes and then settled back down on the water. It was quite a sight!
