Description

The dark-eyed Junco both the male and the female birds are migrants to the Carolinas. These birds are mostly ground feeders and hardly seen perched on branches. Their grey/slate colors also make them less attractive color-wise. during the first winter-weather here during dec-2017, I tried to capture these subtle colored birds when some of the backdrop autumn leaves were still hanging on. The bird with the falling wintry-mix and the backdrop colors….makes it look beautiful.
