Boundary Bay, Delta, BC, Canada

Description

With migration in full swing, 2,000-3,000 Snow Geese found the beaches of Boundary Bay Regional Park an ideal place to rest, refuel, and practice their aerial maneuvers before heading on their southward journey. For almost two weeks in mid-October 2017, we saw huge numbers of these migratory birds (including five of the blue/dark morphs) feed, bathe, and fly, and heard them vocalizing unceasingly from morning until midnight.
