My bird feeder (set on the fire escape of a 4th floor apt) mostly attracts house sparrows and mourning doves, but on rare occasion a cardinal or blue jay will make an appearance, and they do not like being photographed! They are notoriously shy and difficult to capture, but I lucked out on this one! What a little cutie.

You can tell he is a grandpa, we use to have a visitor just like that, it was easy to know that was the same bird because his gray feathers. They are very brave (male).
