Description

In our region (Northwest) the Dark-eyed Junco is classified as number 1 on the top-25 list of feeder birds. The common race in our region is the Oregon Junco. The male has a black hood with pinkish brown flanks and a reddish back. Quite pretty! It is a ubiquitous winter feeder visitor.
