Catching a Breeze

Description

I was watching the birds and alligators by a small pond in Huntington Beach State Park in S. C. when this beautiful Anhinga, it’s wings heavy with water after diving for fish, popped out on the shore very close to me. The bird opened those large wings out to the wind and welcomed the warm breeze. I grabbed my camera very quietly and was able to record the Anhinga enjoying nature’s hairdryer!
