Description

I saw a huge flock of birds circling, then landing in the top of a fir tree, jumping/fluttering from the top down to about 20 feet, then launching into a new circle and landing on the next tree top, repeated over and over again, from treetop to treetop. I took the photo as the flock was flying above me. In one of my still shots, I counted 180 birds in one frame, but that wasn’t the whole flock. They showed up around 1-2pm, even flying during a light snowstorm, and we didn’t see them any more days after that day.
