Description

This is a bird I see often so don’t photograph as much as I used to, but my oldest daughter loves them so when this one posed for me, I decided to snap a few and (ironically and unexpectedly) it’s one of my favorite shots of the birding trip. I love the dark and moody lighting and his sulky and strong pose! It makes me think of the old timey movies during a heavy drama scene when the lighting is all dark and moody and a focused light is shined on the hero’s eyes and face. Northern Cardinal.
