After putting out seeds every morning, I watch as birds swoop down and feast on the banquet I put out. I have an excellent view from my kitchen window (which I have window-strike deterrents on) and can take candid photos without disturbing the birds as they eat.
I happened to get a series of shots of this one Blue jay who stuffed So Many nuts into his mouth (and crop) that I lost count!
I watched anxiously as he stuffed so many he could not close his beak. I thought I might have to go out and perform a little-birdy Heimlich in case he started choking! LOL
