On a cold February day, this Tufted Titmouse was hacking away at an acorn when it became aware of my presence. After a brief pause, it dismissed me as a possible threat and resumed eating.
Category 2: Chickadees and Titmice only
Beautiful shot! Amazing how they can balance and delicately but firmly hold such large acorn!
