Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge Service Trail, DuPont, WA, USA
This Glaucous-winged Gull caught a sole at the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, but the fish was too large for the bird to swallow. This bird tried unsuccessfully to swallow the fish for about 10 minutes before I finally moved on to observe other birds.
