Description

During the month of September, the sun would
shine intensely on my Mexican Sunflower for only about
40 minutes early each morning. It was on one
of these mornings that this shot was gotten. The
light reflecting from the bloom was so intense that
it gave an orange glow to this female’s white underbelly
even. It was a pleasure watching the hummingbirds
argue over this sunflower in the mornings before I
had to head off to work.
