Pretty sure that’s a juvenile male! Females don’t typically have the black head as far as I’m aware.

You are generally correct, but there are several sightings and photographs of females with darker heads… to the point one wonders if they are molting.
Just also going by both sexes we see in migration through South Texas.☺️

Darker heads, yes. But not the black on the chest. This is a first year male
