Description

How beautiful it is to see a splash of bright orange among the reds of apple blossoms! Each spring, I eagerly anticipate the arrival of these brilliantly colored Baltimore Orioles and hearing their sweet songs. This male was hopping from branch to branch, sometimes hanging upside down or sideways, to try to pick out caterpillars to eat from the flowers. I love how the underbelly of the bird is exposed showing his bold yellow and orange colors.
