This red-bellied woodpecker is a regular in my yard, and prefers one feeder in particular, that I stock with a mix of large seeds, dried fruit and peanuts. He is partial to the peanuts, and sifts through the mix to find them.
Category 1: Birds with Food, or at the Feeder
This guy loves his peanuts! He stops by almost daily and fishes through the feeder mix to find peanuts. He retreats to a pine or palmetto treat to eat them, then returns to the feeder for another, going back and forth until he's full.
