Description

While on vacation in Alaska, one of the stops was at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. When the Brown Bears are fed, the seagulls and ravens would swoop in to nab whatever scraps they could get. The bears were amazing but with so many people crowded around to watch them, I found myself watching the birds. We don’t have ravens (or grizzly bears) in Minnesota, but this wild raven was really a treat to see. Ravens are black, but if the light is right, you’ll see how it transforms their feathers into a rainbow of sorts.
