I could hear the call of a baby blue jay from my window and the panic calls of parents. I have a family of jays that I feed routinely. They come like clockwork for in shell peanuts every morning. So when I heard this little guy I knew something might be wrong. I found him stuck in the deep window well with a cat near by. I shooed the cat away and put baby back in the bushes in my yard. All was well as the parent cam for their regular peanuts. I had to take just one picture.
