Description

While crossing a mostly snow-covered golf course to get to a trail near my school, I noticed a small flock of bluebirds and juncos foraging on the ground on a small patch of bare ground. Bluebirds aren’t often accommodating, but they decided I wasn’t enough of a threat and continued to forage even as I got down to eye level. Unfortunately, a passing Merlin scattered the flock soon after I took this photo…
