I had been watching a family of Sandhill Cranes in the nearby grassland preserve near my home, and this Juvenile Crane often had a Red-winged blackbird close by even in flight. Seems it wanted to make sure the youngster knew who was the boss around there and apparently size does not matter in this hierarchy.
