After many years of backyard birdwatching, we tried making our own feeder. This one has fresh cranberries, unflavored gelatin, cornstarch, corn syrup and lots of seeds made in a bundt pan. This Northern Flicker regularly comes to our bird bath for a drink. It didn’t take him long to find the new feeder.

This Northern Flicker came to check out the new feeder we made. He even dressed in formal black tie and his feeder-matching outfit! The fresh cranberries seemed to be his favourite feature.
