Oooo…busted!!!!

This is a poor quality photo but I think I have finally identified this bird. She comes every year and enlarges the vent holes (woodpecker) on my house. She then lays eggs and raises her family inside. We can hear the baby birds chirping, through the wall of our shower, at feeding times. When they first leave the best, they hide in our ceonothus bushes until they can fly! I think she is a Northern Flicker. Anyone else have more info on these interesting birds?
