Though they’re one of the harder feeder bird identifications (to tell apart from Hairy Woodpeckers), these pint-sized versions always have some pep in their step and aren’t too picky about what feeder there’s room at!

Pint-sized Pecker

This Downy was taken at our feeder in late November and found a sunflower heart to his liking.
