This was taken through my bedroom window during the summer. The lighting was great around this time and I was pleased with several different photos of different birds but this young female really captured my eye with her great contrasting colors and the slight hint of impishness in her eyes.
Category 6: Fantastic Females
This female Northern Cardinal is one of only a few birds who can rock an orange mohawk.
