When I see the female Red-winged Blackbird at the feeder, I know spring is here. Fantastic!

Striking contrast between males and females; her beauty is more subtle. I’m always impressed with how sharp your pictures are.
Thank you for introducing me to this fantastic bird. Next time I’m at the park where Red-winged Blackbirds are aplenty, I’ll look for the shy, elusive females.
