This photo was captured within a few days of discovering a first ever mated pair of Eastern Bluebirds in my NH garden, just after lockdowns were mandated in March 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. I often referr to this beautiful bird as Ella (in honor of Ella Fitzgerald and her song Blue Skies). She and her mate successfully raised a clutch of 4 offspring that fledged on July 1, 2020.
