While I was at Malibu Lagoon, I came across one of the largest Bushtit flocks I had ever encountered. I estimated that there were at least 30! I came across this individual perched on a small stem feeding on the flowers with some yellowish flowers in the background. Then, she cocked her head up and I captured this shot. I love the expression on her face. Due to the fact that she has pale irises, I know that she is an adult female; males and immatures have dark eyes.
