Northern Cardinal

Photo received 11/14/2006, “This is my cardinal pairs’ third brood fledgling, photographed this September in the holly on my back patio. Despite being chased fast-and-furiously by his dad (‘Pretty Boy’) everytime he saw him over these past few weeks, this little guy hung around until just this past Sunday, which is the last time I saw him. Really enjoy the last brood cardinal fledges as they’re sometimes still here into the early part of December…otherwise, I don’t usually see more than my resident pair year-round.” Used on AAB web site 4-2009.
